It has been such a pleasure working with Jenny & Clayton.  They have a real affinity for creative portraiture and were looking for a photographer who pushes the creative edge.  It was the perfect match!

Jenny & Clayton wanted an engagement session but wanted it to be something a little different and opted for our signature Cannon Beach Sunset Session.  We also provided coverage for their rehearsal dinner at the gorgeous Hotel Lucia in downtown Portland - a hotel whose hallways are lined with the work of nationally known photographers.

The wedding day consisted of multiple locations, all specifically chosen by Jenny & Clayton for very personal reasons.  Jenny got ready with her bridesmaids at Hotel Lucia while the guys got ready at the couple's apartment.  Formals of the wedding party were taken in Washington Park, where the couple's favorite form of transportation -- nicknamed Westy -- made it's debut appearance.  We then rode off to St Mary's Cathedral for formal portraits with the family and for the ceremony.  Jenny is a grade school teacher who absolutely adores her students and she was able to uniquely incorporate her 1st grade class into the ceremony.  It was very cute to watch and I especially enjoyed watching one of her students videotape the exchanging of vows. 

Once the ceremony was complete, guests boarded a bunch of school buses and made the "field trip" over to Langdon Farms for the reception party.  What an absolutely stunning venue!  Holly and I are head over heels in love with the work we created on Jenny & Clayton's wedding day and are so excited to share this sneak peek with everyone.  Enjoy!
