The day before Rachelle and Donny's wedding, in lieu of a traditional rehearsal dinner, guests embarked on an incredible land/sea tour of St Lucia. We loaded up into a total of three open-topped Landrover Jeeps and hit the streets for a unique perspective of the island. We rode into the island's interior passing by the island's largest banana plantation, the largest pitons, and numerous quaint farming and fishing villages. We even had the chance to sample some locally picked fruits and coconuts -- they were absolutely delicious!
We then went for an hour hike along a river bank that opened up into a beautiful waterfall. It was the perfect location for a group photo!
The tour continued on to Soufriere where we had the chance to visit a sulphur spring -- the world's only drive-in volcano. It was quite intense! We then drove down to a fishing village and set sail aboard an enormous catamaran. There quite simply was no better way to see and fully experience the island of St Lucia.
